Food Pantry Collection Extended to June 11  If you forgot or were unable to bring in your donations to the monthly food pantry collection held on June 4  – you are in luck!  The collection has been extended to June 11.  This month the collection will benefit the Westboro Food Pantry.  Requested items are:  spaghetti; canned pasta products (Spaghettios, ravioli, etc.); cereal; oatmeal; peanut butter; canned tuna; ketchup; mustard; relish; boxes of rice; canned pears; applesauce (cans or jars); baked beans; beef stew; and salad dressing.

Single Again Summer Plans  The regular  Single Again meeting, normally held on the third Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. has been changed for June and July due to members’ vacation plans. Instead, there will be one meeting on June 30, with the usual opportunity to share, support and pray together. Plan on ice cream, board games, and  social time. In August Single Again will return to its regular schedule with tentative plans to travel on August 18 to see the Pawtucket Red Sox together. All singles are welcome, no matter the church affiliation. If you are interested in the ball game give a call  – bring friends/family to see aspiring or rehabbing Fenway ball players!  Contact Laurie LaBrecque with questions. 774-253-4432/ljlab@aol.com.

Rummage Sales Raises $1,000  The Rummage Sale held at St. Paul’s on June 3 raised more than $1,000!  Thanks to all who donated time and treasures to this event, especially Jane Desilets for overseeing and organizing the sale.

Annual Community Picnic July 23   Be sure to mark your calendar on July 23 for our annual community picnic being held on the front lawn of St. Paul’s, which will include members of St. Paul’s, Community Covenant Church, and the Islamic Masumeen Center.   The picnic will take place after the service and there will be cultural dishes, traditional BBQ fare, and a large helping of fellowship.  Friends and neighbors – and their children –  are welcome.  Please bring your own blanket and/or chairs and dishes and/or desserts to share.
